History of the Canadian Ging Wu Kung Fu Martial Arts Association
The Canadian Ging Wu Kung Fu Martial Arts Association was born when Grand Master Stan Lee joined with his brother Sensei Dale Lee and his friend Master David Chan in reviving a club which had existed in various forms since 1969. The modern day club opened in 1992 and has since built a strong reputation for its high quality Lion Dance and Martial Arts
teams.
The club offers training in the traditional Chinese Kung Fu styles of Hung Gar, Wing Chun as well as training in traditional weapons and Lion Dance. The newest venture in the club is a traditional
Contemporary Martial Arts class opened by Sifu Dale Lee.
The instructors, who are all
volunteers at the non-profit organization are currently:
Hung Gar - Sifu Brendan Lee, Sifu Charlie Ngu, Sifu Godwin Chan
Wing Chun - Master David Chan, Sifu Barrie Schulha, Sifu Johnny Kwan, Sifu Edmond Poon,
Sifu George Born
Comtemporary Martial Arts - Sifu Dale Lee
The Canadian Ging Wu Kung Fu Martial Art Association is proud to be a member of the World Chin Woo Federation.
